The Armoured automobile General Purpose (AVGP) fleet comprises of three variants: the Cougar, the Grizzly, and Husky. The AVGP fleet joined solution in 1976. A complete of 195 Cougars had been initially procured to equip Regular and Reserve armoured devices. After purchase related to Coyote as part of the 1999 Army gear Rationalisation Plan, the Cougar fleet was paid off to 100 automobiles ?V become exclusively employed by Reserve armoured devices. The AVGP fleet is undergoing a site life-extension system to boost its dependability, supportability and commonality utilising the Bison and Coyote fleets.
