Length: 205.3m Beam: 21.6m Displacement: 13600t The BALTIMORE (CA-68) premiered 28 July 1942, commissioned 15 April 1943, and reported towards Pacific Fleet. Between November 1943 and June 1944 BALTIMORE had been a unit associated with fire assistance and addressing forces through the operations in to the Southeast Asia. In July 1944, she embarked President Roosevelt and his celebration and steamed to Pearl Harbor. Going back to the war area in November 1944, she have been assigned towards 3rd Fleet. On 26 January 1945 she joined with the fifth Fleet on her behalf last operations about the war: Honshu Island attacks; Iwo Jima procedure; although the 5th Fleet raids in support of the Okinawa procedure. After the cessation of hostilities BALTIMORE served as a unit related to "Magic Carpet" fleet and then as some the naval career force in Japan BALTIMORE received nine battle celebrities on her solution to the Pacific during World War II.
