Jagdtiger development were only available in February of 1943 including on October twentieth of 1943, timber mock-up was presented to Adolf Hitler. Jagdtiger component was to assist infantry and combat armored cars at long ranges. Two prototypes, one with Porsche suspension system (made up of 8 roadwheels) and another with Henschel suspension system (made up of 9 roadwheels) was indeed completed in February of 1944. Its initial designation finished up being Jagdpanzer VI, but later on it had been called Jagdtiger and received number Sd.Kfz.186. Manufacturing was prepared to start out in December of 1943 but had been just obtainable in July of 1944 but Pz.Kpfw V Panther manufacturing received concern and Jagdtiger production was slow.
