Jagdtiger development were just obtainable in February of 1943 and on October 20th of 1943, lumber mock-up was presented to Adolf Hitler. Jagdtiger component would be to help infantry and combat armored cars at long ranges. Two prototypes, one with Porsche suspension (made up of 8 roadwheels) plus one with Henschel suspension system (comprised of 9 roadwheels) had been completed in February of 1944.
