Description

This uncommon twin-engined aircraft with its double tailfin, considerable wingspan and bubble-like cup cockpit, suitable for reconnaissance missions and maximum use of on-board photographic equipment - finished up being built by Germany as a tactical reconnaissance aircraft to displace the old Hs-126, integrated the 30s. As a consequence of robust mobile construction the FW-189 was in fact difficult to shoot down: many circumstances associated with aircraft which makes it back in base despite considerable damage were recorded.
