17T clutchbell produced on a precision manual gear machine from HUDY Gear Steel a material particularly developed and developed for use in gears. Heat addressed for greatest energy, minimal use and extra-long lifespan.
The clutchbell features unique oversized ball-bearings developed and engineered by XRAY. Changing the standard 5x10 bearings with 1.3mm balls, the oversized clutch bearings are 5x12 with 2.0mm balls and extra-thick bearing walls. This equals greater load-carrying abilities which could boost the life of bearings and minimize the likelihood of clutch bearing failure during long final runs. The bearings include special high-temperature resistant grease to be sure proper lubrication during high-revving motor operations and long runs. Clutchbells comes in sizes of 15T, 16T, 17T and 18T.
