Description

This big triple shaft amphibian automobile was made through the 2nd World War the US armed forces. The target would be to build a car to produce ammo, dishes and materials - kept in the holds of transport vessels - to invading troops occupying beachheads on enemy soil soon after landing. The DUKW offered good navigating characteristics and may get well off road too, which, along with its high load capacity, enabled it to perform its logistic part fully. In the post-war years, it was popular by United States Of America's allies totally towards the 70s, including civil security projects.
