The Sherman have been the standard tank with this Allied Forces during World War II and was in fact manufactured in numerous versions: one of these finished up being the highly unusual multiple rocket launcher called Calliope. It saw solution at European theatre in limited numbers towards the final of 1944. The rocket launcher developed fire energy with limited range and accuracy.
