Description

This self propelled anti-tank was built by the Germans in 1942 to face the dangerous, brand new Russian tanks also to equip their anti-tank devices with a mobile vehicle. Identical body after the German Pz 38 (t). The turret was in fact replacement by a collection superstructure which included a 75mm Pak 40 gun. Engine and interior gear remained unchanged and then the automobile was in fact quite high, whilst the gunners was indeed in a rather uncovered place. From 1943 to 1944 have been an entire of 975 units built. Trusted in Tunisia, Russia and Italy. Remained in service with Panzerjaegerabt, concerning the infantry, Panzergrenadier and armoured divisions before the end of 1944.
