Stance widening hexs for improved handling

This aluminium wheel hex adapter pair adds 23mm to your crawler stance to stabilise lateral movement. They are made for wheels with a 4mm centre bore and to fit onto wheel shafts featuring a 4mm threaded section, allowing use with any wheel and axle that share those measurements.

The assembly secures with an O-ring on one face and a spring-steel retaining ring with washers and a stainless screw on the other face, clamping the hex in place. Inside the hex a Delrin collar keeps the adapter seated and helps prevent wheel rotation relative to the hex when under traction, which is useful during slow, technical crawls.

These parts are intended as a track width tuning aid; confirm wheel bore and shaft thread both measure 4mm and check chassis clearance for the extra 23mm before running. Regular checks of retaining rings and screws after rough runs will keep the fitment safe.

Will these change clearance to bumpers or body mounts?

Possibly; adding 23mm per side affects wheel position. Check bumper and body mount clearances and test fit before final installation.

Are replacement parts available for the retention hardware?

The kit includes screws, shims, rings and O-rings. Replace worn items with matching dimensions specified in the packing list to retain proper function.

Is special tooling required to fit them?

Basic hand tools are sufficient to fit and tighten the stainless screw and to seat the retaining ring; use care when compressing the O-ring and inserting the Delrin collar.
