Description
In September 1993, after the young Japanese bike racer, Tetsuya Harada won the 250cc GP2 name, both he plus the Yamaha TZ250M instantly became the center of attention among motorcycle enthusiasts the world over. This has Harada's first season in some sort of Grand Prix, which made him the first Japanese World Champion since 1977. Ahead of this achievement, Harada have been working closely with Yamaha for the past few periods into the Japanese race scene, perfecting the TXM bike. The 94 season, Harda once again prepared for the summer season with a souped up TZM to try the tile once again. Although an unlucky accident and injury throughout the very first round prevented Harada from taking the name, the combined force of him and TZM attracted a huge following. The Yamaha TZ250M used a 249cc liquid cooled V-twin cylinder motor capable of 94 horsepower. Its crankcase reed valve induction system was along with an electronically controlled exhaust valve system. The extremely sophisticated six-speed gearbox used an electronic cut-out notice changing system that eradicated clutch operation and minimized racing stressed. This awesome powerplant was attached to Yamaha's extremely rigid twin-spar package area aluminum framework which was capable of head angle changes. A corner suspension was also of box-sectioned aluminum to justments withstand enormous power and traction. The bicycle rode on Marchesini cast magnesium tires matched to Dunlop radial tires. Its superb stopping energy had been achieved by front Brembo and rear Nissin bark systems.
