The Portuguese 2009 Moto GP saw Fiat Yamaha Team cyclists Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo competition specially colored YZR-M1s as a way for Fiat to advertise the release of their new vehicle, the Punto Evo. The race wound up being an effective week-end for the Fiat Yamaha group as Jorge Lorenzo went on to easily just take the victory.
