A Leisure Bike Category Pioneer
Along with its compact size and unique, adorable looks, the Honda Monkey ended up being a trailblazer for the leisure motorcycle industry. The first model, with a 50cc air-cooled engine installed on a red-colored frame, made its first in 1967. Folding seats and handlebars let it fit inside the trunks of passenger automobiles, allowing cyclists to take them anywhere. The Monkey's suspension happens to be constantly upgraded, and wheel diameter has also increased from five inches to eight inches. December 2006 marked the 40th Anniversary with this small bike, and a special limited edition model designed with red wheels, black fuel tank, and checkered chair cover was produced to commemorate the milestone.
