Dash-1 Yonkuro (Item 18015 & 18625) had been serialized by Shogakukan in their monthly Coro Coro comic magazine for five years between 1987and 1992. Their main rival ended up being Dankuro Todas Mini 4WD. In 1989 the Type-1 chassis with increase tires continued sale and sold 1,971,557 devices until 1990. In 1990 the Type-3 chassis with slick tires continued sale and offered another 1,019,587 units until 2004.
