2003 JGTC Champion
The Nismo GT-R was totally redesigned for the 2003 JGTC season, featuring a reduced and more aerodynamic design. A reliable 3,000cc V6 twin-turbo motor ensured she had sufficient power to match, sending the No. 23 Nismo to an impressive 7 top-5 finishes from 8 events, giving Xanavi Nismo the 2004 championship and Nismo the team name. With all the Nismo team using the Nissan Z rather than the GT-R in 2004, the 2003 GT-R marks the past chapter in history of Japan's many successful touring car.
