The 2004 JGTC Championship-Winning Machine
After racing with all the Nissan GT-R for over 10 years, the factory Nissan racing group (NISMO) purchased a fresh car for the 2004 Japan GT Championships (JGTC), the 350Z recreations coupe. Maintaining winning aspects of the 2003 GT-R model, like the effective 2987cc V6 twin-turbo engine, the 2004 Xanavi NISMO Z featured the streamline contours of Nissan's latest flagship sports car. With car No.1 piloted by Satoshi Motoyama and Richard Lyons taking right out first place in Round 1 and Round 6, the 350Z exhibited an awesome performance in her first JGTC season, helping the NISMO group sign up for both 2004 driver and group games.
