Takazumi Katayama's 1983 Machine
In 1977, Takazumi Katayama became initial Japanese rider to be world GP champion. The 1983 period saw him take to the track in the effective Honda NS500. Featuring a unique 500cc liquid-cooled V3 engine and a double-cradle frame, this bicycle had been a force to be reckoned with. Tamiya has accurately reproduced this historic sporting bike for the Masterwork Collection, and its own synthetic rubber tires, expertly painted competition livery, and precision-crafted internal details means it's going to be the perfect addition to any display collection.
