The Toyota Carina was initially a Japanese compact automobile, launched in 1970. It completed production in 2000 as a mid-sized four-door sedan sold inside Japanese market. At that point it had been changed by the Toyota Allion. The Carina title has been used abroad at different times to represent other automobiles, frequently the Toyota Corona. However, the Japanese-market Carina was an alternative vehicle.
