About the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34)From 1969 through early 1970's, on Japanese Touring Car Race, the Skyline GT-R reached a great streak of fifty victories consecutively. Sixteen years later, its successful name had been passed on towards the R32 type, that has been developed as a base device for Group-A events. To make the most of its powerful 2.6l, 6-cylinder, double turbo motor, it had been equipped with a 4-WD system, which provided unrivaled battle performance. 1995 saw the bigger human anatomy and refined mechanics associated with R33.
In 1999, the technology cultivated over an extended race history had been unsparingly poured in to the brand new R34 kind, developed with "ultimate driving pleasure" in mind. The R34 features a smaller human body and a sturdier framework, with sufficient consideration provided to its aerodynamics. The adjustable two-level rear spoiler along with a front and back diffuser (V-spec), regulate the airflow beneath the chassis, heightening control. The R34's impressive speed is accounted for by an adjustment in valve timing and turbo-charging associated with the GETRAG 6-speed transmission managed motor.
Further refinements have been adopted like an electronically controlled front/rear energy distribution 4WD system and a multi-link suspension. Undergoing extensive testing in Japan, its driving performance had been further enhanced in Germany, regarding Nurburgring. Unrivaled speed and control are making the R34 version of the GT-R Nissan's, if not Japan's, brand new index of quality.
