After 5 years away from the rushing track, two GT-R racing vehicles, #22 and #23, had been entered by NISMO into the 2008 Japanese Super GT Series. The GT-R came ultimately back with a bang with a one-two finish within period's opening race, and also with a 55kg handicap the GT-R went on to record back once again to back wins within 2nd race regarding the period. The energy supply of the GT-R is a 4494cc V8 NA engine which pumps down over 500ps. Following the fifth round, automobile #23 driven by Benoit Treluyer and Satoshi Motoyama are placed 3rd and vehicle #22 driven by Michael Krumm and Masataka Yanagida have been in 5th.
