Mtl.SPW. Sd.Kfz.251/1 Ausf.D “STUKA ZU FUSS”
Right Here Comes The Thunder!
In the 1st 1 / 2 of WWII, the Luftwaffe's dive-bomber Stuka rained down destructive and thunderous fire over enemy forces. The German infantry put some faith in the reliable Hanomag that could be equipped with rocket launchers. 28cm and 32cm rockets created from 1941 could possibly be loaded to the six launch frames equipped on the half-track. Primarily assigned towards the Panzergrenadier Regiment's Heavy business, these units were called "Stuka zu Fuss" and/or "Ground Stuka" as a mention of the Luftwaffe's Stuka plunge bomber, due to their great flexibility, damaging sound, and destructive power.
