Britain provided the Soviet Union with increased than 1,000 Matildas under the auspices of the "Lend-Lease" policy during WWII. Displaying a 2-pounder gun and armor up to 78mm in the front, and providing a premier rate of 24km/h, the Red Army deployed it with an infantry help brief. Later Red Army Matildas received updated tracks and bogie skids as opposed to return rollers in order to assist them deal with the punishing conditions.
