Description

Released in July 1986, regarding the 10th anniversary of Tamiya’s first RC, the Bigwig was a landmark into the development of Tamiya RC racing cars and remains highly prized as an enthusiasts’ car because of its unique design. This was initial Tamiya vehicle with a human body penned by some other designer: Japanese full size race vehicle designer and group owner Takuya Yura. This re-release version is based closely upon the initial, with some tweaks to bring it to date. This original car featured a rack and pinion steering system and distinctive Moon Dish wheels. The human body styling ended up being revolutionary, so when all Tamiya kits were, very easy to build and value for cash.

That is a 1/10 scale R/C model set up kit. Length: 390mm, width: 234mm, height: 163mm.
Aerodynamic body is lightweight and durable polycarbonate. Engine and exhausts are depicted by framework components.
