Tamiya's newest R/C framework, the 2-belt driven 4WD TA05, is finally right here. Fresh from the multiple victories at IFMAR, the world champion TRF group has analyzed a lot of feedback from different drivers, events and machines, distilling everything into a single "balanced" package, available nowadays to R/C fans every where.
In regards to the TA05 Chassis Successor to the popular TA04 chassis, the TA05 is designed with an eye fixed towards the double objectives of Easy Driving and Easy Maintenance. One of the keys feature with this chassis may be the innovative transmission system which incorporates two isometric drive belts mounted front side and rear, interlocking with tooth surfaced center pulley This design significantly reduces drive resistance to reach better transmission effectiveness at high speeds. The chassis structure happens to be redesigned for optimum stability, locating the motor in center-left and battery in center-right place. Center shaft, drive belts and spur gear have also been repositioned for enhanced stability. Suspension system is the same durable and reliable system found on the TA04 chassis. A few features make this framework incredibly easy to perform upkeep on, such as the single deck frame and one-piece engine mount. Front and rear bulkheads are identical and feature 2-piece removable design. New-style mount permits diff to be eliminated without detaching stabilizers. Includes spur gear cover.
