Ford's Super Pick-Up
The 1998 Chicago car Show saw the first of the Ford SVT F-150 Lightning, which provided superb performance because of its 5.4 liter supercharged V8 engine. This effective pick-up truck is reproduced as a Tamiya 1/10 scale R/C construction kit model. Its dynamic form, like the front spoiler built-into the bumper and flared front & rear fenders, has all been realistically reproduced with durable polycarbonate. The tonneau address area can be accurately rendered. In addition, the kit includes window masking stickers and stickers to depict the leading grille.
Evolved Chassis
The tub framework for the evolved shaft-driven 4WD TT-01 Type-E has its engine and battery close to the ground for reduced center of gravity and optimum balance. Mounted on the bathtub framework are a fiberglass strengthened nylon top deck and gear covers which improve rigidity, including a 3-piece tie rod to give you smooth steering action. The reduced center of gravity, great balanced design, 4 wheel double wishbone suspension system, and front and back differential gears all come together to effect a result of superb driving traits. rushing radial tires with realistic tread pattern are mounted on 5-spoke tires.
