Learning by making is a great experience. Tamiya's academic Construction Series provides hobbyists the opportunity to make easy models that provide examples of how mechanisms work. This set up kit constructs a dolphin which swims under the power of the included underwater gearbox, and uses a float and fin-shaped rudder.

• This might be an assembly kit which creates a motorized dolphin model.

• Simple assembly technique makes this kit accessible to a selection of many years including younger modelers.
• Energy from underwater gearbox is given via crank wheels towards the 2-piece tail fin, which flaps down and up to propel the model ahead aided by the head bobbing at the same time.
• Springy polypropylene (PP) sheet pieces recreate the dolphin's human anatomy and fins, ensuing practical smooth movement.
• Change the swimming way by changing the fin position.
• The model features a float which will be connected with a suction cup.
