Aluminium rear mount (2 Deg)

This aluminium rear suspension mount fixes to the rear portion of the suspension arm and provides an adjustable mounting point to alter the rear toe angle on scale RC cars. Fine toe changes allow drivers to adjust corner entry bite and mid-corner rotation with a focus on controllable handling shifts.

The kit includes the necessary fasteners and small components for installation and is supplied as an aftermarket item for DP-series and SD/BD platforms. Standard hobby tools are all that is required, along with routine checks such as verifying arm alignment and re-torquing small screws after initial laps.

How robust is the aluminium mount under regular use?

The machined aluminium construction offers improved wear resistance compared with plastic mounts, but it should still be inspected regularly for damage after impacts. Normal running and light knocks are well tolerated.

Do I need extra spacers or shims for fitment?

The kit supplies a suspension mount spacer and two shims to assist fit and alignment. Additional shims are rarely needed unless you are trying to achieve a specific aftermarket geometry.

Any running checks after installation?

After installation, perform a short run then re-check arm alignment and screw torque. Small iterative adjustments will reveal the handling changes without risking big setup errors.
